ER Wait Times Now Available on 192 Hwy

Kissimmee, FL (September 17, 2009) – Osceola Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room (ER) wait times have gone live on 192 Hwy. A new billboard located on West 192 Hwy (Irlo Bronson Memorial) eastbound in Kissimmee now features the hospital’s wait times to see a medical provider 24 hours a day. This is the area’s first electronic ER wait time billboard.

The ER wait time billboard will be updated electronically approximately every 30 minutes, using an average from the previous four hours. Osceola Regional Medical Center’s ER consistently ranks below the national wait time average of one hour. In March 2009, Osceola Regional kicked off its very successful ER wait time initiative by posting the information on its web site at www.osceolaregional.com and via text messaging - text ER to 23000.

In addition to superior ER wait times, Osceola Regional Medical Center houses an accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center. It is the only hospital in Osceola County with comprehensive cardiovascular care.
